Ingredients
  • Cooking Oil You can use butter if you like it better
  • Salmon Fillet I used about 3 oz
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Lemon wedge
  • Lemon slice oooh a garnish!
Picture
  1. Heat up a flat pan on medium heat. Pour in cooking oil.
  2. Place salmon in heated pan. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Let cook until the bottom is seared.
  3. Flip salmon over and sprinkle other side with salt and pepper. Cover with a lid. Let cook until salmon turns light pink. Sometimes I take a toothpick and poke the salmon to make sure it's cooked all the way.
  4. Squeeze the juice from a small wedge of lemon onto the salmon. Cover again with lid and let cook for about 2 minutes.
  5. Stand salmon on its side for 15 seconds (or so) on each side. Take it off the heat.
  6. Plate the salmon. I served it on cauliflower rice with a side of mixed beans.
  7. Make one cut in the rind of the lemon wedge. Twist into "bowtie" and place on top of the cooked salmon. Top with sea salt and black pepper according to taste.
  8. Enjoy!
